We review the giving corridor in our development workshops. Think of the donor journey with your organizations as walking down this long hallway. Many people start the walk but not all will complete the journey. In the end a smaller number of people will give the majority of the gifts (think pareto principle or the 80/20 rule.) Numbers of donors are represented by the hashtags. Larger gifts (represented by the dollar signs) come in through face to face contact after building a significant relationship, represented by the increasing steps.
